Rock the Reedy 2010

Local business leaders and volunteers plan an outdoor live concert called Rock the Reedy to help Loaves & Fishes raise critical funds to continue its work in the Upstate. Loaves & Fishes, Greenville’s only perishable food rescue organization, and its nonprofit partner agencies have seen an increase in food assistance from 14 to 40 percent since the fall of 2008.

Rock the Reedy, a live concert event, will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. at the Dow Amphitheater behind the Peace Center.  The concert will feature The Fab Beat, a Beatles tribute band.

We are currently providing website support, as well as print design for tickets, posters, the event logo and indentity materials.

The Pantyhose Declarations

This is a poetry eBook by a local author prepared for Amazon’s Kindle platform. The project involved extracting content from multiple files and then formatting the entire project as a seamless page for the Kindle. Using the electronic format, we then prepared “The Pantyhose Declarations” for on-demand print.

We are currently working on the website for the author, which should launch by the end of March.

We are preparing Sharon’s new website in conjunction with FLOURISH Integrated Communications.

Bellews Market

Bellews Market is a fantastic produce market near downtown Spartanburg. It has all sorts of produce you can't find elsewhere, as well as an assortment of jams, jellies, pickles and chow chows. We produced a redesign of Bellews' existing website, one-hour photo shoot, including a reworking of its logo from a photo, performed a site migration and built from the ground up a simple eCommerce solution using PayPal as a processor.

MeetYourStylist.com

This long-term project was built as a social network specifically for cosmetologists. It includes search functionality for stylists based on specialty and salons in South Carolina (the site has the capacity to branch out to all 50 states when it wants to). The site also includes photos and a ratings system where patrons can rate stylists and salons. We also provided design and graphic support for business cards and advertising place cards.

The site is largely WordPress-based with some customizations to make the site more usable for the firm. The site also includes Twitter integration. We also used this opportunity to provide some professional photography services for the site as well as later use by the client.
