It is a level 1 mile walk from Memorial United Methodist Church in downtown Greer to the Soup Kitchen and back.

Meet at Memorial United Methodist Church (201 N. Main St., Greer) between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Lunch plates  and commemorative T-shirts will be available.

Dog walkers are welcome!

The Greer Soup Kitchen serves over 140 plates every day, but has no full time employees.  There are two part time employees who coordinate volunteers, purchases, menus, food storage and sanitation.  All other help comes from volunteers.  All funding and food comes from the community.
